I never knew how much creativity it took to create hand painted martini glasses until I discovered Lolita glasses. Each one is special and sometimes hard to find. You’ve got to catch them before they retire and usually the best ones are gone before I can even get my hands on them.

So I’ve made an attempt here to help everyone who loves hand painted martini glasses by making them available here.

Each martini glass has its own style and personality – they’re hypnotic and irresistible. Who knew a glass could talk to you and make you want it instantly? In addition to the unique martini recipes that can be found on the bottom of each glass, I think Lolita might be adding subliminal messages that seem to say, “You know you want me…”

A little over a year ago, during a housewarming party at a friends house, I experienced my first taste. When my friend brought out the wine for a toast, she handed out the most exquisite wine glasses that I had ever seen. I was so busy checking out the hand painted Little Black Dress on mine and colorful stilettos on another wine glass, that I almost missed the toast.

Yeah, the wine was good, but the glasses had my total and complete attention – I wanted to know where she got them, because I had to have one. That’s when I was officially introduced to Lolita - Lolita glassware, that is, and we’ve been friends ever since.

She told me that these glasses were special because they only make a limited amount of each design and each glass comes with its own wine recipe on the bottom. (more…)
